Getting Ready for Ice Fishing and 2018 Classic – BCB145

DSCN7447 (1)We hope everyone had a very happy and thankful Thanksgiving.  We are back, and are very excited for our first ice fishing trip.  This week we bring you the weekly report, tips, and Elite information.

Weekly Report:  Some lakes in Maine are beginning to freeze over.  Also, some of Maine has snow but not much.

Tips and Techniques:  We are going to be cleaning out our fishing gear area which badly needs it, and going through our fishing stuff to see what can be put away until next spring.

Here is a list of safety equipment you should have (we will have more info about this next week): 1. Ice Picks.  2. Life Jacket.  3. Spud.  4. Rope.  5. Ice Cleats.  Several other things could be added and this is not a complete list but these are some of the necessary basics.

Elite Tournament Segment:

JJ and Josh discuss who is going to the 2018 Bassmaster Classic on Lake Hartwell and which anglers are going back for their 15th, 18th, 20th, or 27th time!  And who has qualified for their first time going to the Classic.

Josh asks JJ,”What is Tommy Biffle’s favorite Bait?”  JJ answers right.

Score: JJ – 3 , Josh – 2.
